MASSIRA KEITA
Massira Keita is a self-taught artist of Ivorian origin, a true Swiss army knife , being a painter, stylist, illustrator and textile designer .
Her brand has existed since 2011 , but drawing has always been a part of her life. Very inspired by Afro-culture , her graphic universe interweaves traditions and urban cultures , in a style "in the manner of the great naive painters" , where we find paintings and illustrations highlighting black women, their hairstyles and their stories .
Sisterhood, kindness, love, hope : these are the messages conveyed through her art.
The particularity of his characters is that they have no face , thus allowing everyone to identify themselves .
In addition to drawing, Massira creates her own graphic patterns , printed on fabric to make outfits and accessories .
