Christelle Kedi, born in Paris, trained in London, and employed in New York, has been passionate about African beauty since childhood. Founder of Christelle KEDI Formations, she is an expert in African femininity, naturopathy, and menstrual well-being.
With over 20 years of experience across three continents, she has worked as a makeup artist, facialist, beauty editor, and backstage manager. Bilingual in English and French, she is also a photo stylist and holds a Master's degree in Fashion Promotion (University for the Creative Arts). She was encouraged by Eryca Freemantle to participate in makeup competitions, winning two awards: Women4Africa / Makeup Artist 2012 and GLE ONE London 2010 / Rising Star. A former makeup artist for BEN TV, she has worked with renowned designers (Adebayo Jones, Kosibah, Susana Bettencourt) and magazines such as New African Woman, National Geographic Green, and Black Beauty Magazine. Since 2013, she has written about African and Afro-descendant beauty and has published five books with Anibwe and Books of Africa.
